Client Service Manager – Insurance

About the role

Everywhen, a UK-based broking and advisory arm of the Ardonagh Group, is looking for an Insurance Client Services Manager in Belfast on a hybrid basis. The role leads a team and manages its own portfolio of clients, offering a complete commercial insurance experience to existing customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day running of the team and support the Team Director, who keeps overall responsibility for the book of business
• Ensure Account Handlers process renewals accurately and follow company procedures
• Handle management administration for Account Handlers (holidays, sickness, absence)
• Identify recruitment needs, interview new starters and implement training for them
• Deal with performance issues quickly and fairly, set personal development plans and carry out appraisals
• Provide a quality service to existing clients, advising, reviewing and securing cover at a competitive premium
• Handle new business, mid-term adjustments and renewals in line with company terms and conditions
• Answer telephone enquiries promptly and refer queries outside your expertise to the right person

Required profile

• Extensive insurance broking experience
• Ability to prioritise and organise your workload so deadlines are met
• Excellent relationship skills, enthusiasm and a problem-solving approach
• Team leader or people management experience is an advantage
