Commercial Head of Finance / Finance Business Partner

About the role

This is a commercially focused Head of Finance position within a growing multi‑site leisure organisation. Reporting to the CFO, you will combine financial control, FP&A and hands‑on business partnering to drive operational performance across a portfolio of golf and leisure facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly management accounts and financial reporting for multiple sites
• Own budgeting, forecasting and re‑forecasting activities
• Provide commercial insight and actionable recommendations to improve performance
• Partner with General Managers and operational leaders to review financial results and drive accountability
• Develop KPI reporting, dashboards and performance analysis
• Deliver cash‑flow forecasts, scenario modelling and business cases
• Support pricing reviews, investment appraisals and capital‑expenditure decisions
• Lead year‑end audit processes and statutory reporting requirements
• Strengthen financial controls and improve reporting processes
• Coach and develop members of the finance team

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Strong blend of commercial finance, business partnering and financial control experience
• Proven ability to influence operational stakeholders and non‑finance leaders
• Experience working in a multi‑site environment such as leisure or hospitality
