Construction Estimator – Commercial & Residential Projects

About the role

We are seeking a Construction Estimator to join a fast‑growing property servicing group in East London. You will price commercial and residential projects up to £5 million, work primarily from our Rotherhithe office and attend occasional site‑scoping visits.

Key responsibilities

• Produce accurate cost estimates and pricing based on construction drawings and specifications.
• Estimate projects ranging from small refurbishments to developments worth up to £5 million.
• Collaborate with the Commercial Director and other departments on procurement and tendering.
• Attend site‑scoping visits (approximately once a fortnight) with mileage reimbursed.
• Maintain daily reporting and support the preparation of tender documentation.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an estimator or quantity surveyor within the construction industry.
• Willingness to commute to the Rotherhithe office and travel locally for site visits.
• Interest in developing project‑management skills.
