About the role
We are looking for a dedicated Cook to join our Brookside House residential care home in Edgware. You will prepare nutritious meals for adults with disabilities, ensuring all medical and specific dietary requirements are met.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals for residents according to individual dietary plans.
- Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
- Manage stock, order supplies and ensure proper storage.
- Work collaboratively with care staff and independently when required.
- Adapt menus to accommodate medical and dietary restrictions.
Required profile
- Passion for caring and community‑focused work.
- Well‑organised and able to follow detailed dietary guidelines.
- Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and autonomously.
Required skills
- Experience preparing meals that meet specific medical and dietary requirements.
