Corporate Tax Manager (12‑month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Manager to join the finance team of an international law firm on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. The role will own corporate tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions and support strategic tax and business initiatives. You will work closely with senior finance stakeholders and external advisers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Manage UK corporate tax compliance obligations for group entities.
• Review tax computations and coordinate with external advisers.
• Support tax planning initiatives linked to business changes and projects.
• Assist with international reporting requirements, including Country‑by‑Country Reporting and transfer pricing documentation.
• Coordinate tax filings across multiple overseas jurisdictions.
• Respond to tax authority enquiries.
• Prepare tax disclosures for statutory accounts.
• Develop and enhance tax processes, controls, and risk management procedures.
• Mentor junior members of the tax team.
• Contribute to wider finance and business improvement projects.

Required profile

• Extensive practical corporate tax experience in a large organisation, professional services firm or advisory practice.
• Strong experience preparing or reviewing UK tax computations.
• Exposure to international tax, transfer pricing and cross‑border compliance matters.
• ACA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent qualification.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
