Corporate Tax Manager

About the role

As a Corporate Tax Manager you will manage a portfolio of corporate tax clients, ensuring compliance and advisory services are delivered efficiently and effectively. You will work closely with partners and directors to shape the firm’s tax strategy while supporting the development of junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee corporate tax compliance for owner‑managed businesses, SMEs and larger corporates.
• Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to identify efficiencies and mitigate risk.
• Lead, mentor and train a team of tax professionals.
• Stay up‑to‑date with changes in tax legislation and advise clients accordingly.
• Assist with HMRC enquiries and negotiations, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with other departments to deliver seamless client service.
• Drive business development initiatives to grow the firm’s tax practice.

Required profile

• ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified (or equivalent) with significant corporate tax experience in practice.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation.
• Excellent client management and relationship‑building abilities.
• Proven experience in managing and mentoring a team.
• Ability to identify business development opportunities and contribute to firm growth.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a commercial mindset.

What we offer

• Salary between £55,000 and £67,000, dependent on experience and qualifications.
