Creative Lead (Brand)

About the role

Arondite is a software company whose products enable operators to use autonomy, data and AI at scale, and is backed by Index Ventures. It is looking for a Creative Lead and first brand designer to join its marketing and communications team. You will own the Arondite brand and its visual identity from day one, combining brand strategy and creative direction with hands-on execution.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the execution, refinement and evolution of the Arondite brand.
• Create visual assets for marketing and external communications, from decks, factsheets and white papers to conference stands, adverts and social graphics.
• Develop illustrations and graphics to support product marketing.
• Keep the brand consistent across all deliverables while pushing creative boundaries.
• Work with growth, video, design and ops teams to deliver design that showcases the company's work.
• Build, maintain and grow an asset bank of reusable materials and templates.
• Explore design-led initiatives across company functions.

Required profile

• Strong, opinionated portfolio covering brand work across digital, print, web and presentation media.
• At least 3-5 years of professional brand or graphic design experience, agency or in-house at a fast-moving product company; software-only companies are a major advantage.
• Able to work at pace and make good independent decisions when briefs are incomplete or unclear.
• Ability to work with, brief and give feedback to external and internal design partners.
• Right to work in the UK at the time of application.
• Willingness to undergo UK security vetting to Security Check (SC) or above, which usually requires continuous UK residency for at least 5 years.

Required skills

• Mastery of design fundamentals: typography, hierarchy, composition and colour, from statement work to complex document layout.
• Advantage: experience with technical teams and complex organisations.
• Advantage: motion graphics, video production or photography skills.

The office is preferred, though occasional remote work and customer visits are acceptable. The process includes a CV submission, a 30-45 minute introductory call, an in-person portfolio review and a final interview with one of the founders.
