Credit Controller – London (9 Month Fixed Term)

About the role

Flight Centre Travel Group is looking for a driven, detail-oriented Credit Controller to join its finance function in London. The role protects the business by ensuring timely collections, reducing risk and nurturing strong client relationships. It is a 9-month fixed-term position.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with clients about overdue invoices by phone and email, and support internal teams with related queries
• Monitor customer accounts, investigate discrepancies, report on debt positions and help refine existing credit control processes
• Work with the Credit Manager on litigation preparation, credit risk identification and credit limit monitoring
• Approve client refunds, support Accounts Receivable activities and contribute to team projects

Required profile

• At least 3 years of credit control experience
• Confident communicator able to handle sensitive payment conversations diplomatically
• Experience managing overdue debt and monitoring credit risk
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure
• European language preferred but not essential

Required skills

• Minimum 2 years of Dynamics system experience
• Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables
• Problem-solving and thorough investigation of account queries
