Customer Relations Advisor

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Relations Advisor to join our team in Redhill. The role focuses on handling customer complaints and disputes, ensuring they are resolved promptly and in line with regulatory requirements. You will work independently while collaborating with internal teams and external parties.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse complaints to assess risk, identify potential regulatory breaches and operational incidents.
• Investigate complaints thoroughly, coordinating with third parties and internal departments.
• Manage Data Subject Access Requests, including data gathering, verification, redaction and dispatch.
• Maintain accurate records of complaint progress and outcomes in the complaints management system.
• Ensure all complaints are responded to within regulatory timescales.
• Analyse complaint trends and report findings to management.
• Provide guidance to colleagues on complaint‑related tasks.
• Adapt to workload fluctuations by supporting other areas of the department as needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a customer‑service environment.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and colleagues at all levels.
• Strong decision‑making ability and meticulous attention to detail.
• Capability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a complaints management system.
