Customer Service Representative – Banking Sector (Hybrid, Manchester)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our banking‑focused team in Manchester. Working four days a week on‑site and one day remotely, you will be the first point of contact for shareholders, handling enquiries via phone, email, web‑chat and written correspondence.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality service and manage client conversations confidently.
• Execute telephone trades accurately, following client instructions and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical support for a range of shareholder queries.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies on shareholder accounts.
• Own issues from first contact to resolution, ensuring timely follow‑up.
• Maintain productivity and quality standards while managing daily open cases.
• Adapt to varied processes across multiple management companies.
• Identify and suggest improvements to enhance client experience.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a client service or contact‑centre environment.
• Ability to work in a performance‑driven, regulated setting.
• Comfort handling workload under pressure and making informed decisions.
• Strong written and verbal communication across multiple channels.
• Secondary school education or equivalent experience.
