Data Scientist

About the role

Cint is seeking a Data Scientist to join its Data Science and Analytics teams. You will work closely with product and engineering groups on Media Measurement and Data Solutions products, applying statistical and machine learning methods to large datasets.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to discovery and development phases for new and existing media‑measurement products and models.
• Participate in model development, validation, maintenance and enhancement.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns and actionable insights.
• Respond to ad‑hoc client requests, performing analyses, data manipulation and summarising results.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to achieve broader project goals.
• Develop methodologies, validate models and support ongoing product evaluation.
• Communicate insights and recommendations through visualisations and presentations for diverse audiences.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Statistics, Quantitative Sciences, Data Science, Operations Research or a related quantitative field.
• At least 2 years of experience in data science or analytics, preferably in market research or advertising analytics.
• Proven ability to manipulate, analyse and interpret large data sources independently.
• Familiarity with core statistical concepts and techniques (distribution properties, hypothesis testing, survey design, sampling theory, experimental design, regression, classification, stochastic modelling, etc.).
• Exposure to a variety of machine‑learning methods (clustering, regression, tree‑based models) and understanding of their practical advantages and drawbacks.
• Practical experience applying statistical and modelling techniques.
• Strong analytical focus on data and model validation and accuracy.
