Delivery Postie (Driving Licence Required) – Permanent

About the role

Join Royal Mail as a Delivery Postie and become a trusted face in your local community. You will deliver letters, parcels and other items across Shaftesbury, working in a variety of shift patterns while staying active and outdoors.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, sort and deliver mail and parcels to residential and business addresses.
• Provide friendly, reliable service to customers and represent the Royal Mail brand.
• Follow a set delivery route and adhere to scheduled working hours.
• Work one in three Sundays on a rota basis as required.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and report any issues.

Required profile

• Upbeat, independent and self‑motivated.
• Organised, punctual and committed to excellent customer service.
• Enjoy walking for long periods and working outdoors in any weather.
• Strong sense of community and pride in the role.
• Hold a full UK manual driving licence with no more than six penalty points.

Required skills

• Full UK manual driving licence.
