Demand Generation Manager – EdTech
eqltech · London
Job description
About the role
Zero Gravity is a tech platform connecting students from low-income backgrounds to university and career opportunities, and has recently launched an AI-powered tutor. Its growth and sales team is building demand from scratch, and the company is looking for a Demand Generation Manager to turn manual outreach into a repeatable demand engine aimed at schools that have never heard of the platform. The role is based in central London (Old Street) with 3+ days a week in the office.
Key responsibilities
- Talk in depth with existing schools and school leaders, and let their feedback shape strategy and channels
- Own the demand engine end to end: strategy, channels, campaigns, pipeline and conversion
- Build awareness and demand among schools that have never heard of Zero Gravity, and convert those that have
- Run events such as the flagship UK education conferences, plus webinars and roundtables, from logistics to follow-up
- Build outbound and account-based campaigns, including email sequences, LinkedIn and direct mail, moving a school leader from first contact to paying customer
- Show up where buyers are: senior-leader networks, teacher communities and the education press
- Turn wins into case studies and quotes that sales uses
- Diagnose funnel leaks, test fixes and use AI to move from idea to live faster
Required profile
- Evidence of owning pipeline or revenue in B2B marketing, with results and thinking valued over years of experience
- Experience running customer or prospect research and changing plans as a result
- Ability to explain clearly why a campaign was chosen and what it is expected to move
- Hands-on experience driving leads through events, outbound or account-based campaigns and multi-channel work
- Early-stage go-to-market experience, ideally in a team of about 20 to 50 people
- Strong signals: UK education sector experience and PR or earned media experience
Required skills
- Hands-on email marketing, automation and nurture
- Data-driven approach to diagnosing funnel leaks
- Hands-on use of AI tools for research, analysis and day-to-day work
What we offer
- Salary of GBP 45,000-60,000 depending on experience
- Share options and private healthcare including dental and mental health support, plus gym discounts
- An annual personal-development allowance
- Flexible working around the in-office requirement
- Team socials, 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays
Applications are submitted through the recruiter, EQL Tech, with a CV and answers to short questions; the process includes a video discussion, a task and presentation, and a values interview with the CEO.
