Marketing Assistant

About the role

A growing company working with a diverse portfolio of clients across several sectors is seeking a creative and proactive Marketing Assistant to join its team in Guildford. The role helps drive brand awareness, supports business growth and ensures the successful delivery of marketing campaigns. Key responsibilities

• Support the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns across multiple channels
• Create and update marketing content for websites, social media, email campaigns and promotional materials
• Assist with managing company social media accounts and online presence
• Monitor campaign performance and prepare reports on marketing activity
• Conduct market and competitor research to support business objectives
• Coordinate marketing materials, brochures and promotional content
• Help organise events, exhibitions and marketing initiatives
• Update website content and maintain brand consistency across communications
• Support the wider team with general marketing administration and ad hoc projects

Required profile

• Previous experience in a marketing, communications or administrative role is advantageous
• Marketing qualification, degree or relevant studies desirable but not essential
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational skills, good attention to detail and a creative approach to problem-solving
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a positive, proactive attitude

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing principles
• Experience with marketing, CRM or content management systems is beneficial
