About the role
Provide swift and professional deskside IT support to clients, handling on‑site analysis, diagnosis and resolution of desktop issues while maintaining high service levels.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver deskside IT support and resolve desktop problems for clients on site.
- Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor and troubleshoot workstations, mobile devices and related hardware/software.
- Use the ticket management system to record, update and resolve tickets.
- Collaborate with global support groups to troubleshoot client issues.
- Utilize tools for building, monitoring and troubleshooting client devices.
- Participate in disaster recovery testing exercises.
- Uphold procedures for logging, reporting and monitoring desktop operations.
- Write technical support and client documentation as knowledge‑base articles.
- Meet or exceed expected customer service levels.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Level 2 Support Manager.
Required profile
- Experience configuring, installing, troubleshooting and repairing printers, PCs and laptops.
- Hands‑on experience with Windows 7, Windows 10, Windows 11 and macOS.
- Experience with VPN, soft phones, Remote Desktop and VDI.
- Asset tracking / inventory management experience.
- Phone and tablet support (Windows, iPhone, iOS, Android).
- Experience with ServiceNow ticketing system.
- Strong communication skills and proven track record supporting clients in a financial environment.
- Customer‑service oriented with good written and verbal communication.
- Effective time‑management, organizational and analytical abilities.
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure and operate both autonomously and within a team.
