Director of Group Finance (Hybrid, London)

About the role

The company is a fast‑growing international consumer and e‑commerce brand seeking a Director of Group Finance to support the CFO during a period of rapid scale, international expansion and finance transformation. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will lead financial control, group reporting and finance operations across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead group financial reporting, month‑end, year‑end and consolidation processes.
• Build and develop the financial control and reporting team.
• Own statutory reporting, audit delivery and technical accounting matters.
• Manage financial control, balance‑sheet integrity and accounting policy across the group.
• Support international entity reporting, multi‑currency accounting and cross‑border finance processes.
• Lead tax, treasury, cash‑management and working‑capital reporting in partnership with the CFO.
• Strengthen controls, governance, reconciliations and reporting discipline.
• Oversee finance operations including AP, AR, payroll and expenses.
• Support ERP implementation and reporting improvements.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
• Proven experience in financial control, group reporting or senior finance leadership.
• Background in consumer, retail, e‑commerce or other high‑growth international businesses.
• Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands‑on with detail.
