Director, People Business Partners EMEA

About the role

Planet is expanding rapidly across Europe and needs a senior HR leader to shape and execute its people strategy for the region. As the Director of People Business Partners EMEA, you will translate global initiatives into local actions, advise business leaders, and ensure a consistent employee experience across all European sites.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the EMEA People Team, including People Business Partners, Talent Partners, and People Operations Partners.
• Own regional people strategy and act as the primary liaison between EMEA and US People leadership.
• Drive execution of global initiatives such as performance management, pay‑transparency compliance, leadership competency framework rollout, and HRIS migration, adapting them to European legal and cultural contexts.
• Support the build‑out of the new Berlin satellite manufacturing hub, defining people processes and workforce planning.
• Provide coaching, prioritisation, and strategic guidance to the regional HR partners.

Required profile

• Extensive senior HR experience, preferably with previous leadership of people infrastructure in Europe.
• Proven ability to operate with high autonomy and make high‑stakes people decisions.
• Strong understanding of European employment law, pay‑transparency regulations, and HR technology implementations.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across multiple geographies.
