Education Recruitment Consultant – Secondary Desk (London)

About the role

Academics is seeking a Recruitment Consultant to lead its Secondary Education desk in London. You will work with secondary schools to place teachers and support staff on both temporary and permanent contracts, helping clients fill critical vacancies quickly and effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Secondary Education desk, sourcing and presenting candidates for teaching and support roles.
• Provide candidates for both temporary and permanent placements, ensuring a fast‑paced response to client needs.
• Collaborate with the compliance and resourcing team to clear candidates for work.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing school clients while acquiring new accounts.
• Achieve sales targets through a market‑leading commission structure.

Required profile

• Minimum of one year experience in any recruitment sector.
• Driven, determined and able to thrive in a fast‑moving environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to think on your feet.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
