Employment Consultant – Support Mental Health & Disability Employment

About the role

This permanent, full‑time position supports a national charity in helping people with mental health conditions, disabilities and other barriers find sustainable employment. You will work across Hillingdon and surrounding boroughs, liaising with Job Centres, NHS services and local partners.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with job seekers, employers, Job Centres and health services.
• Assess individual goals, develop personalised employment plans and motivate clients toward job outcomes.
• Deliver IPS Employment Specialist training and apply evidence‑based approaches to support sustainable employment.
• Manage your own diary, meet targets and report progress to the charity.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months experience in B2B sales, recruitment, account management or business development.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Genuine interest in mental health, employability or the charity sector.
• Degree‑level education preferred.
• Organised, resilient and comfortable working independently.
