Employment Tax Senior Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Employment Tax Senior Manager to join a top‑10 firm in London. This client‑facing, advisory‑led position offers real influence, ownership of a portfolio and a clear path for progression within a high‑growth team.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of UK, US and European clients.
• Build and develop long‑term, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Provide high‑level advice on complex employment tax matters, including P11D transition, NIC, IR35 and wider compliance.
• Support clients in adapting to legislative changes such as payroll reporting developments.
• Contribute to emerging areas like share schemes and employment‑related securities.
• Support the development of a growing team, mentor junior staff and help build capability.
• Collaborate with Directors and Partners on team growth strategy.

Required profile

• Significant experience in employment tax within a practice environment.
• Strong knowledge of P11Ds, PAYE, NIC and broader compliance requirements.
• Proven exposure to advisory work and client interaction.
• Experience with employment‑related securities or share schemes (desirable).
• CTA qualification (or equivalent) preferred.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
