Engineering Graduate Programme (Business Analysis / Project Management)

About the role

LSEG's Engineering Graduate Programme is a 12-month development opportunity for recent graduates starting in September 2027, aimed at those interested in a Business Analyst or Product Manager role within global financial markets technology. Graduates join on a permanent basis, aligned to a division from day one.

Required profile

• Final year undergraduate or Masters student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline, having completed all course requirements by August/September 2027, or a fresh graduate of class 2026.
• Demonstrable interest in technology, shown through work experience, extracurriculars, internships or university projects.
• Demonstrable interest in financial markets.
• Curiosity for data and the ability to analyse information to draw conclusions and propose solutions.
• Focus, resilience and flexibility in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to collaborate with others.
• Rights to work in the UK without restriction for the duration of the programme.

Required skills

• Strong analytical skills
• Experience with SQL and Python

The recruitment process includes an application and resume, a technical and coding assessment, an immersive online assessment, a video interview and a half-day virtual assessment centre.
