Engineering Graduate Programme (Cloud, DevOps)

About the role

LSEG's Engineering Graduate Programme is a 12-month development opportunity for recent graduates starting in September 2027, aimed at those interested in a Cloud Engineer role with Python and public cloud development (AWS or Azure). Graduates join on a permanent basis, aligned to a division from day one. Candidates are asked to apply once for all graduate programme openings.

Required profile

• Final year undergraduate or Masters student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline, having completed all course requirements by August/September 2027, or a fresh graduate of class 2026.
• Genuine curiosity about technology, shown through studies, extracurriculars or work experience.
• Demonstrable interest in financial markets.
• Curiosity for data and the ability to analyse information and propose solutions.
• Focus, resilience and flexibility in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to collaborate with others.
• Rights to work in the UK without restriction for the duration of the programme.

The recruitment process includes an online application and resume, a technical and coding assessment, an immersive online assessment, a video interview and a half-day virtual assessment centre. Applications close on 16 November, but early application is recommended as candidates are considered on a rolling basis.
