About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher to join a group of outstanding secondary schools in Staines. The role involves delivering engaging lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching A‑Level English for the right candidate. You will work in a supportive, inclusive environment that values high expectations and student progress.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver curriculum‑aligned lessons in English literature and language.
- Assess student work, provide constructive feedback and track progress.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Contribute to departmental meetings, whole‑school initiatives and extracurricular activities.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with safeguarding policies.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge in English literature and language.
- Passion for inspiring students and fostering critical thinking.
- Commitment to high academic standards and inclusive practice.
Required skills
