English Teacher – Staines (Full‑time/Part‑time)

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher to join a group of outstanding secondary schools in Staines. The role involves delivering engaging lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching A‑Level English for the right candidate. You will work in a supportive, inclusive environment that values high expectations and student progress.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver curriculum‑aligned lessons in English literature and language.
• Assess student work, provide constructive feedback and track progress.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Contribute to departmental meetings, whole‑school initiatives and extracurricular activities.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with safeguarding policies.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong subject knowledge in English literature and language.
• Passion for inspiring students and fostering critical thinking.
• Commitment to high academic standards and inclusive practice.
