Enterprise Architect – Fixed‑Term (23 months)

About the role

SEPA is seeking a senior Enterprise Architect on a 23‑month fixed‑term contract to shape its digital future. You will work at a strategic level, aligning digital systems, data and processes with the organisation’s Digital Strategy and environmental mission.

Key responsibilities

• Design, maintain and evolve the enterprise architecture across business, data, application and technology domains.
• Set architectural standards, develop frameworks and roadmaps, and guide technology choices for scalable, long‑term solutions.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders, delivery teams and specialist architects to translate strategic aims into practical designs.
• Provide assurance that digital initiatives are integrated, balanced with risk management and deliver sustainable value.
• Lead governance boards, chair meetings and manage technical specialists to simplify complexity.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate qualification or formal Enterprise Architecture certification, or equivalent experience.
• Extensive senior‑level data architecture experience in both public and private sectors, with strong understanding of public‑sector reform.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain enterprise architectures and translate strategy into actionable roadmaps.
• Strong technical knowledge of cloud platforms, integration patterns and data management.
• Excellent stakeholder leadership and communication skills, including chairing governance boards.
