Estate Agency Sales Manager – Residential Property

About the role

This is a permanent, full‑time position leading the residential sales team of an independent estate agency in Haywards Heath. You will be responsible for winning new property instructions, delivering accurate valuations and driving the growth of the sales department in a competitive local market.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct property valuations and secure new sales instructions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and prospective buyers.
• Provide expert advice on pricing, marketing strategies and current market conditions.
• Maximise listing opportunities and conversion rates to meet sales targets.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the local area.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth progression of sales transactions.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the Haywards Heath property market.

Required profile

• Proven experience in estate agency sales, particularly in valuations and listings.
• Track record of winning instructions in a competitive market.
• Strong communication, negotiation and telephone skills.
• Professional appearance and confident client‑facing demeanor.
• Self‑motivated, able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
