Estate Surveyor – Commercial Property (3‑month contract)

About the role
We are seeking an Estate Surveyor to join the commercial property team of a Greater Manchester local authority on a three‑month fixed‑term basis, with the possibility of extension. The role is hybrid, allowing a mix of office and site work, and starts as soon as possible.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the let estate in line with the agreed programme.
- Handle disposals of land and property assets.
- Acquire property interests for corporate schemes.
- Project‑manage regeneration and property development initiatives.
- Conduct valuations of land and property for both capital and revenue purposes.
Required profile
- Ability to undertake a caseload as defined with the Head of Service and Principal Surveyor.
- Willingness to work on a temporary three‑month contract, potentially extending.
