ETF Capital Markets Specialist

About the role

The ETF Capital Markets Specialist will manage and optimise both primary and secondary market ecosystems for UCITS ETFs, ensuring high‑quality liquidity and efficient trading across diverse market conditions. This role acts as the central liaison between portfolio managers, authorised participants, market makers, exchanges, clients and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate ETF creations and redemptions, manage AP relationships and maintain liquidity in all market conditions.
• Monitor secondary‑market spreads, depth and trading behaviour, working with market makers to keep markets tight and orderly.
• Provide execution intelligence and pre‑trade analytics to clients, advising on optimal trading strategies and liquidity windows.
• Educate internal teams and clients on ETF structure, liquidity mechanics and market micro‑structure.
• Translate portfolio management intent into efficient ETF trading and liquidity outcomes.
• Position UCITS ETFs as flexible solutions across use cases such as delta‑one exposures, securities finance and structured products.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of ETF primary and secondary market processes.
• Experience working with authorised participants, market makers and exchanges.
• Ability to analyse market flows, investor behaviour and regulatory developments.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to commercial audiences.
