Executive MCL Adjuster - Major & Complex Loss

About the role

Sedgwick is recruiting an Executive Major Loss Adjuster for its Major & Complex Loss team in the London area. You will manage high-value commercial property claims from start to finish, covering material damage and business interruption, and deliver exceptional service to clients and their customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage complex, high-value claims and take ownership of them from investigation through to resolution
• Work with desk-based Adjusting Executives and other specialists to meet client service level agreements
• Maintain the highest standards of quality and compliance
• Build strong relationships, show empathy and communicate clearly to promote customer satisfaction
• Adapt during surge periods and manage your own caseload independently

Required profile

• Proven experience handling major and complex loss claims
• Professional qualifications, ideally ACII/ACILA or equivalent
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Market awareness and account management experience is an advantage

Required skills

• Strong IT skills
• Excellent communication skills: writing to and negotiating with policyholders, insurers and contractors
