About the role

An experienced Family Solicitor is sought to combine high-quality legal work with strategic team leadership in a growing office. The role suits a commercially minded legal professional who enjoys mentoring others, building client relationships and helping drive the success of the practice. The position is based in Horsham and is permanent.

Key responsibilities

• Advise and represent clients across a broad range of family law matters.

• Lead, mentor and develop legal and support staff.

• Ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and team development activities.
• Contribute to strategic planning and operational improvement.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with significant family law experience (typically 5+ years PQE).
• Proven leadership, supervisory or team management experience.
• Strong commercial awareness and business development skills.
• Outstanding client care and relationship-building abilities.
• Organised, proactive and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
