Lending Property Paralegal

About the role

A growing property team in Guildford is looking for an ambitious Lending Property Paralegal to support its fee earners across property finance and secured lending matters. You will help ensure transactions move smoothly from instruction through to completion, working alongside experienced fee earners and handling a varied caseload.

Key responsibilities

• Draft legal documents and correspondence
• Open and manage client files
• Conduct searches and review title documentation
• Prepare Certificates of Title and security documentation
• Liaise with borrowers, lenders, brokers, solicitors and other third parties
• Assist with completions and post-completion matters, including registrations and lender requirements
• Ensure compliance with lender instructions, regulatory obligations and firm procedures
• Maintain accurate records and case management systems

Required profile

• Previous experience in a Property Finance, Lending Property or Conveyancing team
• Understanding of secured lending transactions and the property conveyancing process
• Strong administrative and organisational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication, high accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Case management systems

What we offer

• Salary of £25,000 - £27,000 DOE per annum, with annual salary review
