Field Sales Executive – PPE & Workwear (North East England)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Field Sales Executive to promote and sell personal protective equipment (PPE), workwear and janitorial supplies across the North East of England. The role is primarily home‑based, with regular client visits and one office day per week.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts, providing proactive account management.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Conduct up to four days of client visits per week, delivering product advice and solutions.
• Stay up‑to‑date with relevant health and safety legislation to ensure accurate client guidance.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling PPE, workwear or related safety products, preferably in a field sales capacity.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with a track record of closing sales.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently while maintaining a high level of organisation.
• Willingness to travel across Newcastle, Durham, Teesside and Northumberland.

• Understanding of relevant health and safety legislation.
