Finance Manager

About the role

FlexiTog, a workwear manufacturer for extreme cold environments, is building a new finance function after being acquired by a US private‑equity backed group. You will own the UK finance operation, reporting directly to the Group Finance Director and shaping the finance processes from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end UK month‑end close (10+ day cycle) and statutory accounts preparation.
• Manage the audit process, with the 2025 audit as an immediate priority.
• Design, document and embed SOPs and internal controls that currently do not exist.
• Produce cash‑flow forecasts and multi‑entity reports for overseas subsidiaries.
• Participate in ERP integration and system rationalisation across the group.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) fully up‑to‑date.
• Proven experience owning a full month‑end close and statutory audit cycle independently.
• Exposure to US GAAP is a strong plus.
• Solid experience with ERP systems.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building processes from scratch.
• Based in or able to commute to London; remote work initially.
• No visa sponsorship available.
