Financial Control Specialist

About the role

The Financial Control Specialist will act as the primary bridge between finance and overseas business units, providing strategic financial analysis, budgeting, and decision‑support to commercial, supply‑chain and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own financial control and Finance Business Partner duties for overseas segments, delivering analysis and strategic support.
• Coordinate with regional teams and group finance functions (tax, treasury, reporting) to align financial strategies with business goals.
• Lead full‑cycle annual budgeting and rolling forecasts, monitor variance, and propose improvement actions.
• Build and maintain multi‑dimensional profitability analysis by product, customer and project, producing regular reports.
• Review pricing mechanisms, assess financial feasibility, provide risk early warnings and ensure contract compliance.
• Oversee overseas internal controls, ensure compliance with local regulations and corporate policies, and mitigate financial risks.
• Lead a finance team, collaborate with IT to upgrade financial systems and data dashboards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related fields.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA or CMA are highly preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in financial control, management accounting or manufacturing finance, including at least 3 years in overseas finance management or business partnering.
• Background in automotive, high‑end manufacturing, technology hardware or supply‑chain industries; multinational experience strongly preferred.
• Fluent English with strong cross‑cultural communication and presentation skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP full modules (FICO, CO‑PA, SD, MM).
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
