Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Financial Controller to join a fast‑growing international technology and services group based in London. The role sits within the Group Finance function and provides exposure to multiple entities, senior stakeholders and strategic finance initiatives. You will be responsible for financial reporting, control strengthening and supporting the evolution of the finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts across multiple entities, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting.
• Provide insightful financial commentary and analysis to senior stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate balance sheets and manage intercompany accounting and multi‑currency consolidations.
• Support treasury activities and banking relationships.
• Assist with finance systems and process improvement projects.
• Support statutory accounts preparation and annual audit processes.
• Ensure tax and compliance obligations are met across jurisdictions.
• Partner with operational and commercial stakeholders to identify reporting, control and efficiency improvements.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Strong experience in management accounts and financial control.
• Experience working in a multi‑entity or international business environment, preferably within technology, consultancy or services.
• Excellent attention to detail and commercial mindset.
• Proactive, organised and delivery‑focused with strong stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting.
