Financial Controller

About the role

The company is a fast‑growing, multi‑site business looking to expand from £30m to £100m in revenue over the next three years. They are seeking a commercially‑driven Financial Controller to own financial control, reporting and insight for the division, working closely with senior leadership and operational teams.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of monthly management accounts and ensure timely, accurate reporting.
• Produce weekly KPI and trading reports to monitor performance across sites.
• Manage revenue recognition, balance‑sheet reconciliations and overall financial control.
• Partner with divisional leadership and key stakeholders to provide commercial analysis and actionable growth insights.
• Support budgeting and forecasting cycles and develop management information, including conversion and performance reporting.
• Lead one direct report and oversee an outsourced transactional finance team.
• Drive process improvements, strengthen financial controls and contribute to systems development and optimisation.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• Strong management accounting and financial control experience.
• Commercially astute with solid analytical capability.
• Proven ability to influence and manage senior stakeholders.
• Experience in a scaling or high‑growth environment; multi‑site exposure preferred.
• Healthcare sector experience is a plus.
