Foster Carer Recruitment Lead

About the role

As a Foster Carer Recruitment Lead you will work from home, travelling across your designated UK region to recruit and engage prospective foster carers. You will own the enquiry pipeline from the first contact through to the initial fostering visit, ensuring a supportive experience that drives conversion and service growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a regional pipeline of prospective foster carers from enquiry to initial visit.
• Respond promptly to enquiries via phone, email and text.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with prospective carers.
• Conduct initial fostering visits and maintain regular communication throughout the recruitment journey.
• Re‑engage withdrawn applicants where appropriate and ensure enquiries progress within agreed timescales.
• Maintain accurate records in internal systems and monitor pipeline performance.
• Produce weekly performance reports and support monthly reporting requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, GDPR and organisational policies.
• Co‑facilitate information events, live Q&A sessions and represent Compass Community at recruitment events.

Required profile

• Passionate about people and committed to making a difference.
• Experience in recruitment, sales, customer engagement or another target‑driven environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
