About the role

Woodhouse College is seeking a French Language Assistant to support its vibrant 16‑19 academy. This permanent position involves working closely with students aged 16‑18 to enhance their French language learning experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist teachers in delivering French language lessons and activities.
  • Provide additional language practice and support to students.
  • Help prepare and organise classroom materials and resources.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Required profile

  • Native or near‑native speaker of French.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enthusiastic, reliable and well‑organised.
  • Good IT proficiency, including working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work effectively with young people aged 16‑18.
