French Speaking Account Manager

About the role

A leading international manufacturer of ingredients and solutions for consumer-related industries is looking for a French-speaking Account Manager based in Ashford. The role is mainly office-based, with one day from home after training, and pays up to £32,000 per annum.

Key responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for key stakeholders in the French market, building strong relationships and meeting high customer expectations
• Manage customer orders from initial request through to final shipment
• Respond to enquiries promptly, handle order change requests and resolve customer issues
• Maintain and update customer information in the CRM system, including specific requirements or contracts
• Liaise with internal teams such as demand planning to monitor stock availability and support customer forecasts
• Handle complaints, process returns and prepare credit or debit notes as needed
• Collect customer feedback and suggest improvements to the customer experience

Required profile

• Fluent in French, written and spoken (essential)
• Customer service or account management experience, ideally in an international business
• Strong customer relationship management and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Proactive, adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Required skills

• Computer literacy
• Knowledge of SAP is beneficial
