French Speaking Credit Controller

About the role

Elevation Recruitment is looking for a French‑speaking Credit Controller to support billing, working capital and financial performance for a client based in Manchester. The role combines credit control, invoice finalisation and reporting while ensuring compliance with VAT regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage work‑in‑progress (WIP) and drive conversion of invoices to cash.
• Lead credit control activities and reduce aged debt.
• Finalise bills and handle matter adjustments using the 3E system.
• Support complex billing requirements and deliver regular financial reporting.
• Ensure VAT compliance and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
• Assist global projects related to finance and billing.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months experience in legal billing or credit control.
• Fluent French language skills (essential).
• Proven track record in cash collection and debt reduction.
• Strong stakeholder management and organisational abilities.
• Calm under pressure with a proactive mindset.

Required skills

• eBilling experience.
• Knowledge of the 3E billing system.
