French Speaking Regional Sales Manager

About the role

A well-established business-to-business trading company specialising in the sourcing and supply of materials across global markets is looking for a French-speaking Regional Sales Manager based in Newbury. The position is hybrid, with three days a week in the office after training, and pays up to £55,000 per year depending on experience, plus a bonus.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of sales and increase revenue across the region
• Identify and qualify new business opportunities, lead negotiations and close deals
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial enquiry through to final delivery
• Build a strong pipeline of new business and maintain relationships with existing clients
• Create and deliver strategic sales plans for the region to meet growth targets
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs and suggest changes or new products
• Regular international travel is required (up to 30% of the time)

Required profile

• Fluent in French and English, written and spoken (essential)
• Proven experience in B2B sales or business development (essential)
• Strong understanding of international shipping operations and trade-related financial processes
• Knowledge of commodity trading and/or international trade is an advantage
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proactive, confident and dynamic, able to work independently and collaboratively
• IT literate and confident
