Front of House Receptionist – London (Up to £38k)

About the role

Our client, the UK headquarters of a prestigious global financial services organisation, is looking for a Front of House Receptionist to be the professional face of their London office. Working Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑5 pm, you will welcome visitors, manage calls and support the smooth operation of a busy corporate environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a warm, professional welcome to clients, visitors and employees.
• Answer and direct internal and external telephone calls with discretion.
• Coordinate meeting‑room bookings and ensure rooms are tidy and ready before, during and after meetings.
• Assist Events and Marketing teams with the setup and delivery of internal events and client functions.
• Arrange catering, boardroom lunches and other hospitality services.
• Prepare new‑starter welcome packs, security passes and onboarding documentation.
• Book taxis and support travel arrangements for staff and guests.
• Maintain reception and front‑of‑house areas to a high standard, reflecting the company’s brand.
• Provide general administrative support to the wider office team as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a corporate Front of House, Reception or Client Services role, preferably within financial or professional services.
• Immaculately presented with a polished, approachable manner.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
• Highly organised, able to juggle multiple priorities while remaining calm under pressure.
• Proactive, resourceful and able to anticipate the needs of clients and colleagues.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding client experience.
• Team‑player with a positive attitude and genuine passion for hospitality.
