About the role
JD Gyms is expanding rapidly across the UK and is looking for a part‑time General Assistant to help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for members and colleagues in its Coatbridge location.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out daily, weekly and monthly cleaning and safety checks throughout the club.
- Report any defects and ensure equipment and facilities remain safe to use.
- Uphold JD Gyms brand standards and health‑and‑safety policies in all areas.
- Maintain a professional appearance and uniform in line with company expectations.
- Deliver friendly, professional member service and support learning and development initiatives.
Required profile
- Strong interpersonal skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Commitment to high standards of cleanliness and member service.
- Experience in a customer‑facing, cleaning, leisure or similar environment is advantageous.
- Effective communication and ability to build positive relationships with members and colleagues.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
