Global Process Owner – Order to Cash

About the role

This senior finance leadership position is responsible for shaping and executing the global Order‑to‑Cash (O2C) strategy for a leading international manufacturing group. The role focuses on standardisation, automation, process excellence and working‑capital performance across all markets.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end global O2C process, governance framework and operating model.
• Lead the global O2C transformation roadmap, driving standardisation, automation and continuous improvement.
• Improve working‑capital performance through DSO reduction, cash‑collection optimisation and revenue protection.
• Establish global process standards, controls and KPIs, ensuring compliance and consistent execution.
• Act as design authority for O2C within ERP and finance transformation programmes.
• Partner with Finance, Commercial, Technology and Shared Services to align O2C processes with business strategy.
• Use data and analytics to monitor performance, identify improvement opportunities and drive decision‑making.
• Influence senior stakeholders globally, embed best practice and ensure adoption of new ways of working.
• Lead governance, resolve critical process issues and oversee delivery against agreed service levels.

Required profile

• 10+ years’ experience in finance transformation, global process ownership or shared services.
• Deep expertise across the full O2C lifecycle in a global organisation.
• Proven track record of leading large‑scale process transformation, ERP implementation and operating‑model redesign.
• Strong knowledge of working‑capital optimisation, credit, collections, billing and cash application.
• Professional accounting qualification.
