Groundworks Supervisor – Bristol (BS9)

About the role

MadiganGill is seeking an experienced Groundworks Supervisor to join a long‑term civil engineering project in Bristol (BS9). The role starts as soon as possible and offers a stable 12‑month minimum commitment with consistent Monday‑to‑Friday hours.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate groundworks activities on site, ensuring health and safety standards are met.
• Manage daily work schedules, allocate resources and monitor progress against project timelines.
• liaise with site engineers, subcontractors and client representatives to resolve any operational issues.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used and site inspections.

Required profile

• Valid CSCS Card.
• Valid SSSTS Certificate.
• Valid EUSR or Streetworks qualification.
• Proven experience supervising groundworks on construction sites.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of groundworks methods and health‑and‑safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Effective team leadership and communication on site.

• Full‑time, onsite position with regular weekday hours (07:30‑17:00) and occasional weekend work when required.
