About the role
We are looking for an experienced Handyman to join our Kitchen & Bathroom renewal project for social housing in South‑West London and Westminster. You will work on a self‑employed basis, delivering high‑quality repairs and refurbishments for a leading infrastructure provider.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance, refurbishment and repair tasks in kitchens and bathrooms across social housing properties.
- Use 110 V or battery‑operated tools safely and efficiently.
- Ensure work meets health & safety standards, including asbestos handling where required.
- Maintain project timelines and deliver work to a high standard of quality.
- Coordinate with site teams and report progress.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a Handyman in the social housing sector.
- Valid CSCS card.
- Right to work in the UK and good conversational English.
- Reliable, organised and able to meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail.
Required skills
- Asbestos awareness training certificate.
- Competence with power tools (110 V or battery‑operated).
- Driving licence and access to own vehicle (van preferred).
