Head of Finance – FinTech Leader (London)

About the role

We are seeking a Head of Finance to lead the finance function of a high‑growth fintech that is building an AI‑driven operating system for private‑capital investing. Based in London with a hybrid schedule, you will partner directly with the CEO and founders to shape financial strategy as the company scales from Series A to Series B and beyond.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and own the end‑to‑end finance function, including accounting, FP&A, controls and reporting.
• Prepare and present the monthly board pack, quarterly investor updates and KPI dashboards.
• Drive the monthly close, variance analysis, rolling forecasts and scenario modelling.
• Lead financial diligence, data‑room preparation and support the Series B fundraising process.
• Collaborate on commercial decisions, unit economics, pricing and deal structuring with PE customers.
• Recruit, develop and mentor a small finance team as the organization grows.

Required profile

• 8+ years of finance experience, including senior leadership in FP&A, controlling or as Head of Finance.
• Background in a high‑growth B2B SaaS or fintech start‑up.
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or US equivalent) with Big Four or top‑start‑up experience.
• Proven ability to build finance functions from early‑stage to growth stage.
