Head of HR for European Hedge Fund (London)

About the role

The firm is a multi‑billion‑dollar US hedge fund expanding rapidly across Europe. It is creating its first London‑based Head of Human Resources to lead the growing European business and support ambitious office build‑outs.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the hiring strategy for the European hub.
• Oversee recruitment, compensation & benefits, performance management, disciplinary processes and payroll.
• Provide hands‑on leadership while delegating routine administrative tasks to a small support team.
• Collaborate with the Global Head of HR in New York and align local practices with global standards.

Required profile

• 10‑20 years of relevant HR experience, preferably within hedge funds, private markets, proprietary trading firms or investment banks.
• Demonstrated ability to lead HR functions in fast‑growing, high‑performance environments.
