Head of HR – Lead People Strategy for International Creative Business

About the role

Our client, an established international creative services business headquartered in South London, is seeking a Head of HR to join the Senior Leadership Team. Reporting to the Directors, you will own the people function and drive a commercially‑focused, compliant and high‑performing HR strategy as the company scales across Europe and the USA.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continuously improve the company’s People Strategy.
• Lead the HR function, ensuring attraction, development and retention of top talent.
• Partner with the Directors and senior leadership on strategic workforce planning, succession and organisational capability.
• Design and roll out scalable HR policies, systems and processes for UK, Europe and US operations.
• Champion company culture, employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives.
• Manage complex employee relations and ensure compliance with UK employment law and international regulations.
• Oversee payroll, benefits and reward programmes.
• Drive learning, development and performance management programmes.
• Produce HR analytics, reporting and strategic recommendations.
• Collaborate with recruitment partners to support hiring and employer branding.

Required profile

• Significant experience in a senior HR leadership role within a fast‑growing, international environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to align HR initiatives to business objectives.
• Proven track record of building scalable HR frameworks across multiple jurisdictions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills at board level.
• Deep knowledge of UK employment legislation and experience with European/US compliance.
