Head of Innovation

About the role

The Head of Innovation will shape and lead the innovation agenda for a leading law firm undergoing rapid growth. Reporting to senior leadership, you will drive strategic change, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure that innovation delivers measurable value across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Define and deliver the firm’s innovation strategy aligned with business priorities.
• Build and manage a pipeline of innovation initiatives from concept through delivery.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to identify business improvement and transformation opportunities.
• Drive adoption of new technologies, processes, and ways of working.
• Measure the impact of initiatives and ensure tangible business outcomes.
• Monitor emerging market trends and cultivate relationships with external partners and vendors.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading innovation, transformation, or strategic change programmes in legal services, preferably within a law firm.
• Commercially minded and delivery focused with a solid understanding of AI trends in the legal sector.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at executive level.
• Track record of delivering measurable business outcomes.
